Annie Close, MSOT, OTR/L

Annie holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, specializing in pediatric pelvic health. She studied sociology at Whitman College and then completed her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy at Washington University in St. Louis.

She started her career as a pediatric occupational therapist, working at children’s hospitals and outpatient clinics. Her passion for pelvic health sparked when she realized how few resources there are to help children with bowel and bladder dysfunction, leading her to specialize in pediatric bowel and bladder disorders.

As a mom who has three kids and one that struggle with constipation, she knows firsthand the challenges a family can face. Her true passion lies in helping families understand how to get to the root cause of what is going on and guide their children into good habits for a lifetime of optimal pelvic health. She loves to treat kids with urinary and fecal incontinence, withholding, constipation, bedwetting, potty training difficulties, and pelvic girdle pain. She enjoys helping children achieve and maintain bowel and bladder health throughout childhood and beyond.

Annie utilizes her expertise in manual therapy, corrective exercise, pediatric development, and holistic techniques to meet children where they are and guide them toward optimal pelvic health.

Beyond her love for learning about all things pelvic health, she is a mom to two little active boys, an avid runner, and lover of all things chocolate. She loves providing holistic, evidence-based, and individualized care. Her favorite thing to do is empower children to OWN their healing, and she looks forward to working with you and your family soon.
